Super Fudgy Cacao Brownies Recipe

These super fudgy chocolate brownies are not only irresistible, they also come with one sweet reward: a bonus boost of antioxidants, fiber, and mineralsthanks to the minimally processed cacao powder they're made with.

INGREDIENTS

3 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Cacao Butter

½ cup organic butter

½ cup + 1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

1⅓ cups organic cane sugar

2 large organic eggs

1 tsp. vanilla extract

¼ tsp. sea salt

⅔ cup all purpose flour, or gluten-free baking flour

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8-inch square baking pan with parchment or foil, extending it up two sides. Set aside.

In a double boiler or saucepan set over very low heat, melt cacao butter and butter together. Add cacao powder and whisk until combined.

Remove the bowl from the heat and whisk in sugar, then eggs one at a time, then vanilla and salt. Stir in flour with a spoon or spatula. Scrape the batter into your prepared pan and spread until it's evenly distributed.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out batter-free.

Let cool completely, then cut into desired size. Enjoy!
