Cacao Body Butter

Pamper your skin with this soothing body butter made with rich, nourishing Cacao Butter Wafers. Perfect for battling dry, chilly weather, this creamy blend hydrates deeply while the refreshing scent rejuvenates your senses.

INGREDIENTS

½ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Butter Wafers
½ cup shea butter
½ cup jojoba oil
¼ tsp. essential oil 
2 Tbsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Add Cacao Butter Wafers, shea butter, jojoba oil, and essential oil to a large heat-proof mixing bowl.

Add an inch of water to a saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer on stove over low heat.
Place mixing bowl on top of saucepan, and stir until melted.
Allow mixture to cool for about 15 minutes, then transfer to fridge and allow to solidify for about one hour.
Whisk solid body butter until fluffy and
creamy. If too greasy, add arrowroot powder or cornstarch and stir to combine.
Transfer whipped body butter to glass jar and return to fridge for about 15 minutes. Store at room temperature.
