Superfood Banana Bread Muffins

These superfood banana bread muffins are a nourishing twist on a classic, enhanced with Digestive Blend for a functional boost. Soft, fluffy and studded with rich Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers, this easy banana muffin recipe is perfect for a quick breakfast, snack or better-for-you treat.

INGREDIENTS

2 ripe bananas
3 large eggs
⅓ cup oil 
⅓ cup dairy-free milk 
1 bag Belly Classic Banana Bread mix
¼ cup Navitas Organics Superfood+ Digestive Blend
½ cup Navitas Organics Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers, roughly chopped

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease or line a muffin tin with muffin liners.
In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth. 
Add eggs, oil and milk, and whisk to combine. 
Add Banana Bread Mix and Digestive Blend and mix until smooth. 
Fold in chopped Cacao Wafers.
Divide batter into muffin tin and bake 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
Makes 12 muffins
