
Maple Caramel Apples
Enjoy this healthy version of a classic autumn treat any time of the year!
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup + 3/4 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Hemp Almonds, divided |
DIRECTIONS
Make the Maple Caramel Sauce: Blend 1 cup Almonds, water, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and salt in a high-speed blender until very smooth. Pour into a bowl. Refrigerate for 3 hours to thicken. Slice the apples and place toothpicks through the sides. Dip the apple slices in the caramel sauce to coat. Make the Crunchy Coating: Mix ¾ cup Almonds and Cacao Nibs in a medium bowl. Pour onto a plate. Roll the caramel-coated apple slices to coat edges. Place on a plate and serve. Can be stored in the refrigerator. If you have any leftover caramel and coating, mix them together and freeze for candy!

- ½ Cup Navitas Organics Cacao Sweet Nibs
- 6 Tbsp Water
- ¼ Cup Maple Syrup
- 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch Himalayan Salt
- 4 Apples, sliced
- Toothpicks
Directions
Make the Maple Caramel Sauce:
