
Honey Hazelnut Treats Recipe
Easy to make and fun to eat‚ these sensational raw food treats are also excellent party fare. In addition to being gluten free‚ they have minimal added sweetening and aren't even baked‚ which is especially nice in hot weather‚ when you may not want to turn on the oven.
INGREDIENTS1/4 cup unsweetened shredded Coconut 1/4 Cup Honey 2 Tbsp Navitas Organics Cacao Nibs 1 Tbsp Navitas Organics Cacao Powder 1 cup raw Hazelnuts, skin on 1 cup pitted Dates 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract Pinch Sea Salt |
DIRECTIONSPut the hazelnuts in a food processor and grind to a coarse meal. Add the dates, coconut, honey, vanilla, and salt and blend until well mixed. Sprinkle the cacao nibs and cacao powder onto a large plate. Shape the hazelnut mixture into walnut-size balls, and roll the balls around on the plate until evenly coated.
