5-Ingredient Cacao Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

These simple five-ingredient chewy cacao peanut butter cookies are the perfect quick-and-easy healthy dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth. Made with fair trade cacao and loaded with antioxidants, these cookies are simple, satisfying and good for both your body and the planet.


2 large bananas, very ripe

¼ cup coconut palm sugar, or organic cane sugar

½ cup peanut butter, plus 2 Tbsp. for topping

¼ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

1 cup quick oats

½ tsp. sea salt


Preheat the oven to 350˚F.

In a bowl, combine bananas, coconut sugar and peanut butter. Beat until well combined and a wet batter has formed.

Add cacao powder, oats and salt to the batter. Mix until well combined and then scoop dough onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Gently flatten each cookie slightly with a fork and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving with a drizzle of peanut butter over each cookie.

Makes 1 dozen cookies
