Watermelon Chia Fresca Recipe

A beautiful drink‚ Chia Fresca has been enjoyed century after century in the highlands of Mexico. Here it is with refreshing watermelon!

INGREDIENTS

4 tsp. Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

2 cups water

5 cups watermelon, cubed

3 Tbsp. fresh squeezed lime juice

2 Tbsp. maple syrup (or stevia to taste)

DIRECTIONS

Combine the Chia Seeds and water in a glass, and stir to combine. Allow to rest for 10 minutes. Stir once more and set aside once more for 10 minutes.

Place all ingredients in a blender, including the chia mixture, and blend until well combined. Serve immediately or chill for later enjoyment.

Makes 4 cups
