Super Easy Chia Jam Recipe

With berry season well underway, what better way to make use of your extra berries than making some chia jam! Easy to make and jam-packed with fiber, plant protein and antioxidants, it's completely customizable by adding your favorite superfood berry powders.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups berries of choice

Zest of ½ lemon

2 tsp. Navitas Organics Pomegranate Powder or Açaí Powder*

Juice of ½ lemon

1-2 Tbsp. agave syrup, to taste (optional)

2 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

DIRECTIONS

Add berries to a pot and place on the stove over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the berries cook down, add your superfood powder of choice, lemon juice, zest and agave, if using. Stir until combined.

Stir in chia seeds and remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes until thick.

Spread on toast or base of choice and enjoy!

*I used pomegranate for the strawberry raspberry blend and açaí for blueberry!
