Maca Almond Energy Bites Recipe

With ingredients rich in fiber, calcium and magnesium, these adaptogen-rich bites help satisfy hunger, sustain energy levels and keep the body in balance. Whip them up for a packable snack or serve them up as an after-dinner treat!

INGREDIENTS

¾ cup gluten-free rolled oats

½ cup almond butter

¼ cup unsweetened dried coconut

¼ cup Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Maca Powder

1 Tbsp. honey or maple syrup

1 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 Tbsp. water

¼ tsp. sea salt

 

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir to combine. Using your hands, continue to mix until everything is well incorporated. Taste and add more salt or honey to your preference.

Take about ½ tablespoon of the mix at a time and squeeze together in your hand, shaping and rolling it into a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture. Eat right away or chill in the refrigerator to firm up.

Makes 20-25 bites
