Cacao Mint Cocktail Recipe

It's the most magical time of the year—from small gatherings with friends and family to holiday parties to just sitting around the fire pit—it's always more relaxing with a signature cocktail like this one. Made with rich cacao powder, this drink is not only delicious, it's brimming with plant-based nutrients and antioxidants to help you get through the end of holiday season!

INGREDIENTS

Cacao Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

½ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

¼ cup agave syrup

Cocktail:

3 oz. vodka

1½ oz. peppermint schnapps

Ice

Garnish:

Crushed candy canes

DIRECTIONS

Whisk together cacao simple syrup ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, making sure to whisk occasionally, for about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Dip cocktail glasses in agave syrup (or cacao simple syrup) and rim the glasses with crushed candy canes.

In a shaker filled with ice, combine cocktail ingredients and two ounces of cacao simple syrup.

Shake and strain into decorated cocktail glasses over ice.

Makes 2 cocktails
