Adaptogenic Hot Cocoa Recipe
This low-caffeine, low-sugar hot cocoa is a soothing wellness drink brimming with magnesium-rich cacao and stress-relieving adaptogens including reishi mushroom, maca and ashwagandha. It's the perfect cozy beverage to replace coffee in the morning or to wind down with in the evening.
INGREDIENTS8 oz. plant-based milk ¼ cup decaf coffee (optional) 1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Cacao Powder (or more, to taste) 1 tsp. Navitas Organics Superfood+ Adaptogen Blend 1 tsp. vanilla extract Optional: drizzle of maple syrup, to sweeten |
DIRECTIONSWhisk together all ingredients in a pot. Heat over stovetop on medium heat, stirring regularly. Be careful not to boil! Once desired temperature is reached, pour into your favorite mug and use a milk frother to add some foam, if desired. Enjoy! Makes 1 serving
