Adaptogenic Hot Cocoa Recipe

This low-caffeine, low-sugar hot cocoa is a soothing wellness drink brimming with magnesium-rich cacao and stress-relieving adaptogens including reishi mushroom, maca and ashwagandha. It's the perfect cozy beverage to replace coffee in the morning or to wind down with in the evening.

INGREDIENTS

8 oz. plant-based milk

¼ cup decaf coffee (optional)

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Cacao Powder (or more, to taste)

1 tsp. Navitas Organics Superfood+ Adaptogen Blend

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Optional: drizzle of maple syrup, to sweeten

DIRECTIONS

Whisk together all ingredients in a pot.

Heat over stovetop on medium heat, stirring regularly. Be careful not to boil!

Once desired temperature is reached, pour into your favorite mug and use a milk frother to add some foam, if desired.
