Vegan Chocolate Lava Cakes Recipe

INGREDIENTS¼ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder 1 cup organic all-purpose flour 5 Tbsp. organic cane sugar 1 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. Kosher salt ¼ tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla extract ¼ cup vegan butter, melted 1½ cups unsweetened almond milk 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1 (4oz) vegan chocolate bar, broken into fours Toppings: Festive Halloween edible décor |
DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 350˚ F and grease four standard ramekins with vegan butter. In a bowl, combine almond milk, apple cider vinegar, melted vegan butter, vanilla, and cane sugar, and whisk together until combined. Add in the flour, cacao powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and mix until smooth. Pour batter into each ramekin halfway, then add broken chocolate pieces to the centers and top with remaining batter. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes or until tops of cakes have baked fully. Remove from oven, add Cacao Sweet Nibs, festive Halloween décor, and enjoy! Makes 4 servings
