
Strawberry-Chia Margarita Sorbet Recipe
The chia seeds not only add nutrition‚ but create a cute illusion that makes the sorbet look like the outside of a seedy strawberry. You can use different flavors of commercial kombucha to create unique twists on this recipe.
INGREDIENTS2 Cups Frozen Strawberries 3/4 Cup Kombucha (unflavored) 1/3 Cup Tequila 1/3 Cup Agave Nectar* 1/3 Cup fresh Lime Juice 1 Tbsp Navitas Organics Maqui Powder 2 Tbsp Navitas Organics Chia Seeds |
DIRECTIONSIn a blender, process the frozen strawberries, kombucha, tequila, agave, lime juice, and maqui powder into a smooth mixture. Add chia seeds and blend briefly just to mix, but leaving the chia seeds whole. Pour the mixture into a sealable container and freeze for 4-6 hours or overnight until frozen.
