Peanut Butter Maca Cookies Recipe

The mild combination of savory and sweet peanut butter mixed into smooth, nutty dough, elevated with the superfood boost of adaptogenic maca gives this cookie its charming, nostalgic flavor. 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup peanut butter

½ cup maple syrup

½ Tbsp. vanilla extract

½ cup all-purpose flour

1½ Tbsp. Navitas Organics Maca Powder

2 Tbsp. milk of choice

1 tsp. sea salt

Toppings:

5 oz. vegan dark chocolate

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract. 
In a separate bowl, combine flour, maca powder and sea salt, and mix well.

Use about one tablespoon of dough per cookie. Form small balls of dough and slightly flatten each cookie onto a parchment-lined baking sheet with a fork.

Bake for 10-14 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate in 15-minute intervals, stirring frequently until chocolate is smooth and melted through.

Once cookies are baked, let sit for 15 minutes to cool. Drizzle chocolate over cookies with a fork and finish off with a sprinkle of hemp seeds.

Makes 6-8 cookies
