Fudgy Black Bean Brownies Recipe

These brownies are fudgy, decadent and super easy to throw together, but the best part about them is that they actually leave you feeling amazing after eating them!

INGREDIENTS

1 15-oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed

10 Medjool Dates

1/3 cup Maple Syrup

½ tsp Vanilla Extract

2 Tbsp Coconut Oil

½ cup Almond Milk

2 tbsp Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

1 tsp Baking Powder

3/4 cup Almond Flour

2/3 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

½ cup Chopped Walnuts

½ cup Dark Chocolate Chips (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. Combine the black beans, dates, maple syrup, vanilla and coconut oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. Transfer to a large bowl. Add the almond milk.

In a separate bowl, add your dry ingredients (Chia Seeds, baking powder, almond flour and Cacao Powder) and stir until well combined.

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients while stirring continuously. Stir in the walnuts and chocolate chips, if adding.

Grease a 10-12-inch square baking dish with coconut oil or line with parchment paper. Pour the mixture into the dish and spread evenly. Top with extra walnuts and chocolate chips. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

Let the brownies cool, then cut into squares and serve! They’re great topped with extra Cacao Powder or coconut cream.
