Creamy Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte Recipe

This creamy iced strawberry matcha latte is the perfect way to treat yourself to healthy indulgence. Fragrant matcha powder is blended with melted cacao butter wafers to create the most luxurious matcha latte. Fresh strawberries are mixed with milk and honey to add sweet, fruity flavors. Top it all with vegan whipped foam and you’re ready to take on the day and anything that comes your way!

INGREDIENTS

¼ cup diced fresh strawberries
1 tsp. honey or pure maple syrup
1 cup milk (divided)
¼ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Butter Wafers
¼ cup water
1 tsp. Navitas Organics Matcha Powder
2 Tbsp. aquafaba (juice from canned chickpeas)
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar

DIRECTIONS

Mash strawberries into a thick
jam-like consistency. In a small bowl, combine mashed strawberries with honey or maple syrup and ¼ cup milk. Set aside in the fridge.

Melt Cacao Butter Wafers on the stove in a small saucepan on
medium-low heat. Stir in the water for one minute, until water is warmed. Remove from heat and add matcha powder. Use a whisk or milk frother to blend for until smooth, about 1 minute. Set aside to cool.

In a small mixing bowl, combine aquafaba and powdered sugar. Use a milk frother to blend until it thickens and forms a foam, about 3 minutes.

Fill a glass ¾ full of ice cubes and add ¾ cup milk. Pour in matcha latte then strawberry milk. Top with whipped foam and enjoy!
