Chocolate-dipped Apple Slices

These spook-tacular apple slices are dressed to impress with wickedly delicious bittersweet chocolate and Halloween sprinkles. Who knew healthy treats could taste this hauntingly good?

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Navitas Organics Bittersweet Cacao Wafers
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
2 apples
1 lemon
Halloween sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

After washing two apples, cut each one into 8 slices and place them in a bowl.

Wash and cut a lemon in half. Squeeze the lemon juice into the bowl. Using a large spoon, coat the apple slices evenly with lemon juice to prevent apple slices from turning brown. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from lemon juice and place them in a smaller bowl.

In another small bowl, microwave cacao wafers with coconut oil. Microwave in 20 second increments, stirring each time.

Dip 1 apple slice at a time into melted chocolate. Place slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Decorate with your favorite Halloween sprinkles.

Place apple slices in freezer for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
