Indulge in these deliciously simple treats made with ripe banana slices, creamy peanut butter and a rich coating of melted semi-sweet cacao wafers. They’re the perfect balance of sweet, nutty and chocolatey for a refreshing snack or dessert that’s both satisfying and wholesome!
Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
-
⅓ cup Navitas Organics Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers
Directions
- Peel and slice bananas into ¼-inch-thick coins.
- Line plate or baking sheet with parchment paper. Place banana slices flat on parchment and spread ½-1 tsp. peanut butter on each slice. Top with another banana slice to make a banana-bite sandwich.
- Transfer plate or pan to freezer for ~1 hour or until frozen.
- Once frozen, melt cacao wafers in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Dip each frozen banana bite in melted chocolate and place back on plate or pan. Freeze for another 30 minutes or until chocolate has hardened.
- Remove from freezer and enjoy right away!
