Goji berries have a unique, sweet-tart flavor, similar to a sour cherry. They can be used in both sweet or savory preparations; traditionally they were used in chicken soup!
What are dried goji berries popularly used for?
Goji berries in their dried form are often used as toppings for yogurt and smoothie bowls, or added to cereal, granola and trail mixes. The dried berries can also be added to a variety of baked goods like cookies, muffins, breads, and more!. We love our dried goji berries paired with cacao nibs, other dried fruit, nuts and seeds for a delicious homemade trail mix. Why do your Goji Berries come from China?
Whenever possible, we source our superfoods from their country of origin. This helps us obtain the premium quality nutrients and support the cultures that have propagated them sustainably over time. Goji berries are native to the Himalayan region, which is where ours are grown on certified organic farms. We do additional testing when the goji berries are received at our US facility to ensure they are every bit as clean as we expect.

Goji berries are known to be a good source of healthy antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, and supportive to overall well-being. Goji berries contain high levels of vitamins A and C, which are essential for building immunity against illnesses, protecting eye health, and improving skin quality. Goji berries are also an excellent source of carotenoids, a beneficial antioxidant that can support your immune system. They can be consumed in dried or raw forms, depending on personal preference.
Do your Goji Berries contain added sugars or preservatives?
Nope! Our dried goji berries are free from added sugars and preservatives, maintaining their sweetness and nutritional value naturally. The total sugars in the berries are all naturally occurring.
Why is there a warning label on my Goji Berries?
Some of our superfoods fall under CA’s Prop 65 labeling requirements. This is due to trace amounts of heavy metals that are naturally occurring in the organic soils in which our superfoods grow.
