Simplest Turmeric Rice Recipe
This quick and easy turmeric rice is the perfect flavorful side dish for holiday gatherings or busy weeknights!

DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 350°F. Rinse rice until the water runs clear. Add to a pot with water, coconut oil and salt. Bring to a brisk simmer over medium high heat, cover, and reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 12 minutes. Meanwhile, put cashews on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes, or until golden. Fluff rice with a fork, add remaining ingredients and stir until evenly combined. Sprinkle Cashews on top and enjoy! Makes 6 servings

- 1 Tbsp. unrefined coconut oil
- 1 tsp. salt
½ cup cashews, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar

1½ tsp. Navitas Organics Turmeric Powder
- 2 stalks green onion, thinly sliced
- Ground black pepper to taste

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
