Power Pesto

Power Pesto

Get in those greens in the most delectable of ways. You can use virtually any variety of dark baby greens here – baby spinach‚ baby kale‚ baby beet greens or a mix!

INGREDIENTS

2 packed cups Baby Dark Greens‚ like Spinach or Kale
½ packed Cup fresh Basil
2 tsp Yellow Miso Paste
2 tsp Nutritional Yeast
1 Cup Olive Oil
1½ tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tbsp fresh Lemon Juice
½ Cup Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds
Sea Salt and Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until well incorporated.

Serving Suggestion: use as a dip for vegetables like carrots or broccoli florets‚ as a spread on toast or sprouted bread‚ or with crackers.

Garlic powder is used here because it’s a little bit less in-your-face than when used fresh‚ but if you’re a garlic lover, get out those cloves and swap away!
