Coconut Matcha Latte Recipe
While matcha may seem like a trendy green tea that's taken the wellness world by storm, it's actually an ancient beverage that has been consumed as part of traditional Japanese ceremonies for centuries! This Coconut Matcha Latte is inspired by the traditional practice, but adds a delicious modern twist.
2 tsp Navitas Organics Matcha Powder
2 oz Water
1/2 cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk
1/2 tsp Raw Honey
Sift 1-2 teaspoons Matcha Powder through a fine sifter into a ceramic bowl. Add 2 ounces of hot water. Whisk vigorously until tiny bubbles form.
Next, heat coconut milk slightly and foam milk using a milk frother.
Pour the matcha into a cup, top with the foamed milk and enjoy!
Optional: If you prefer your matcha to have a slightly sweet flavor, add a little raw honey, to taste.
