Chocolate-Dipped Mandarins Recipe

These deliciously sweet, juicy little bites are super easy to make and satisfy sweets cravings in a pinch. Make and store some to have on hand for late-night snacking or serve them up at your next party!

INGREDIENTS

3-4 Mandarin oranges

3 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted

2½ Tbsp Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

2 tsp. preferred sweetener, or to taste

Pinch coarse sea salt

DIRECTIONS

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Peel the mandarins and separate into individual segments. Place in the refrigerator while you make the chocolate.

Add the coconut oil, Cacao Powder and sweetener to a small bowl, and whisk to combine. Place the mixture in the refrigerator for several minutes to thicken slightly.

Remove the chocolate from the refrigerator and whisk again until smooth. Return to the fridge for a few minutes if needed for a thick, semi-liquid consistency.

Dip the mandarin segments into the chocolate and lay them flat on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt before the chocolate begins to harden.

Refrigerate to harden for 5-10 minutes.

Remove and serve!
