A glass of chia water made with Navitas Organics Chia Seeds, garnished with a lemon wedge

Chia Water Recipe

One of the easiest ways to incorporate more chia seeds into your diet is to simply add them to your water to make a refreshing chia water! When mixed into water, chia seeds swell up to make a gel-like consistency, resulting in a filling drink to enjoy any time of day for a boost of hydration. Add a few berries or lemon slices to make this hydrating drink even better!

INGREDIENTS

4 cups filtered water

¼ cup Navitas Organics Chia Seeds

Optional: a handful of berries, sliced cucumber, fresh mint leaves, sliced citrus fruit or a squeeze of citrus juice

DIRECTIONS

Combine the chia seeds and water in a one-quart mason jar and shake.

Let soak for 30 minutes.

Add in any optional items and enjoy!

Store leftover chia water on a cool countertop or in the fridge.
