2 cups Gluten-Free Oat Flour
2/3 cup Arrowroot Starch
2 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Navitas Organics Coconut Palm Sugar + 1-2 Tbsp for topping
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 cup Oat Milk, warmed
5 Tbsp Navitas Organics Cacao Butter, melted
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, arrowroot starch, cinnamon, 1/4 cup Coconut Palm Sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
Whisk dry ingredients together until well combined. Next, pour warmed oat milk and melted Cacao Butter into the dry ingredients and mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour scone batter into the center of the baking sheet. Using a spatula, shape the batter into a circle and sprinkle with remaining Coconut Palm Sugar.
Place scones in the oven for 20 minutes or until baked through and slightly golden brown on top. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing into triangles and serving.
