Apple Cinnamon Bites Recipe

These bites are not only filled with quality energizing ingredients like oats‚ dates‚ coconut oil and apples‚ but they are also high in fiber and gluten-free. They make a great snack to take to school and are ideal for a breakfast on the go!

INGREDIENTS

1⅓ Cups Dates
½ Cup Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds (ground)
½ tsp ground Cinnamon
2 Tbsp Flax Oil or Coconut Oil
½ Cup dried Apple Pieces, coarsely chopped
⅔ Cup Oat Flakes
2 Tbsp Apple Butter or Honey
Roll in crushed sunflower, hemp or pumpkin seeds

DIRECTIONS

Place dates in food processor and blend until you form a thick paste. Place in a large bowl and stir in the ground hemp seeds, ground cinnamon, dried fruit, oil and apple butter using a fork or your hands to combine and add oats last. Form into small balls by the teaspoon-full. After rolling in sunflower, hemp or pumpkin seeds, place in a container and refrigerate or freeze – they taste great right from the freezer.
