Vegan Cacao Mummy Brownies Recipe

These cute and spooky brownies are rich, full of chocolatey goodness, easily prepared in the blender, and made with a secret, superfood ingredient. You’d never even know that these brownies are secretly healthier than most other brownies! Break out the blender and dive in!

INGREDIENTS

8 oz. vegan semi-sweet chocolate chips (about 1⅓ cup)

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

¼ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

½ cup oat flour

½ tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch of sea salt

Optional: candy eyeballs and vanilla cookie icing to decorate

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350˚ F.

Melt chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl 30 seconds at a time until melted, stirring in between. Let cool for about 5 minutes.

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on low-medium until combined. 

Transfer batter to a baking pan either greased or lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30-35 minutes.

Let cool for about 30 minutes before slicing and/or decorating. 

Enjoy!
