Turmeric Hot Cocoa Recipe
This dairy-free hot cocoa is vegan- and paleo-friendly, made with real food ingredients and sweetened with pure maple syrup or honey. Cozy up with a mug and relax with each sip while giving your body a little extra TLC.
In a Vitamix or blender, mix the non-dairy milk, cacao powder, organic turmeric powder, ginger, maple syrup, cinnamon and black pepper.
Warm in your Vitamix, steam or transfer to a medium saucepan and heat. Alternatively, you can heat everything together in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk in ingredients.
Taste and adjust the sweetness, if desired. Sprinkle with cinnamon and turmeric, if desired.
