Turmeric Hot Cocoa
This dairy-free hot cocoa is vegan- and paleo-friendly, made with real food ingredients and sweetened with pure maple syrup or honey. Cozy up with a mug and relax with each sip while giving your body a little extra TLC.
2 cups Non-Dairy Milk
2 Tbsp Navitas Organics Cacao Powder
1 tsp Navitas Organics Turmeric Powder
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup or Honey, to taste
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp fresh grated Ginger
1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp Navitas Organics Maca Powder
In a Vitamix or blender, mix the non-dairy milk, Cacao Powder, Turmeric Powder, ginger, maple syrup, cinnamon and black pepper.
Warm in your Vitamix, steam or transfer to a medium saucepan and heat. Alternatively, you can heat everything together in a saucepan over medium heat and whisk in ingredients.
Taste and adjust the sweetness, if desired. Sprinkle with cinnamon and Turmeric, if desired.
