Triple Chocolate Gluten-free Donuts Recipe
INGREDIENTS1 cup gluten-free flour 1 tsp. baking powder ¼ tsp. baking soda ¼ tsp. salt ½ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder ½ tsp. nutmeg 1 organic egg ⅓ cup pure maple syrup 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 Tbsp. olive oil ½ cup milk of choice
Chocolate Glaze: ½ cup Navitas Organics Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers

DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 350°F. Coat a donut pan with oil and set aside. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cacao powder, and nutmeg. In a medium bowl, combine egg, maple syrup, vanilla extract, olive oil, and milk. Pour wet ingredients into flour mixture and stir until just combined. Transfer donut batter into a Ziploc bag and cut a hole in one corner. Squeeze donut batter into wells of donut pan and smooth out with spoon. Bake 9-10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow donuts to cool for 5 minutes, then turn donut pan over and pop donuts out onto wire rack. In a small bowl, heat cacao wafers in microwave for 30 sec. – 1 min., stirring halfway through. Dip donuts into chocolate glaze and set aside. Sprinkle Cacao Sweet Nibs on top of each donut before chocolate dries. Enjoy!
