Maca Kettle Corn Recipe made with Navitas Organics Maca Powder

Maca Kettle Corn Recipe

Show up with this party snack and you’ll be the star of the show.

INGREDIENTS

1½ Tbsp. coconut oil

¼ cup popcorn kernels

¼ cup coconut palm sugar

½ tsp. sea salt

1 Tbsp. Navitas Organics Maca Powder

DIRECTIONS

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.

Melt coconut oil in a large pot with a well-fitting lid over medium-high heat.

Add three popcorn kernels, swirl around in the oil, put the lid on and wait for them to pop. When they do, you’ll know the oil is hot enough for the rest of them.

Add the remaining kernels, coconut palm sugar and salt. Put the lid back on, and shake the pot vigorously to distribute the sugar and prevent it from burning. Keep shaking the pot directly on top of or hovering just over the burner as consistently as possible while the corn pops.

When you hear the popping slow to 1-2 seconds between pops, take the pot off the burner. Sprinkle the maca onto the popcorn and shake to distribute.

Pour the popcorn onto the baking sheet and spread out to cool.

Serve and enjoy!
