Golden Milk Oatmeal Recipe

Even though the oats themselves are the golden ones thanks to being bathed in turmeric, as you enjoy them with a little almond milk, the milk magically turns golden as well!


1 cup Water

1/2 tsp Navitas Organics Turmeric Powder

1/4 tsp ground Ginger

1/8 tsp Black Pepper

Pinch Sea Salt

3/4 cup Gluten-Free Rolled Oats

1/4 cup Navitas Organics Mulberries

1 Tbsp Coconut Palm Sugar

1/2 cup unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or milk of choice)

1 Tbsp Walnuts, chopped

Seasonal Fruit (optional)


Combine the water, Navitas Turmeric Powder, ginger, black pepper and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, covered.

Stir in the oats, cover and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, without stirring, for 5 minutes or until oats are tender.

Remove from heat and fold in the Mulberries and coconut palm sugar.

Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl, pour as much almond milk as desired on top. Sprinkle with walnuts and top with fresh fruit, if desired. Serve warm.
