DIY Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Recipe

Elevate your breakfast or snack experience with this rich and velvety spread that combines the natural sweetness of hazelnuts and the deep, robust flavor of organic cacao. You'll never go back to the store-bought version again!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups hazelnuts
⅓ cup Navitas Organics Cacao Wafers
¼ cup pure maple syrup

DIRECTIONS

Roast hazelnuts at 350°F for 15 minutes and let cool.
Add hazelnuts to a food processor and blend until smooth.
Add cacao wafers to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted (about 1 minute total).
Add melted chocolate and maple syrup to hazelnuts, and blend until smooth and creamy.
Store in an airtight container.

*Blending tip- start low and slow. Turn off & scrape down sides to get a smooth consistency. Blending takes about 5-10 minutes.
