Dark Chocolate Bark Recipe

This melt-in-your-mouth (and sometimes your hand) chocolate is loaded with antioxidants, healthy fats and rich flavor. Add your favorite superfood toppings to create an extra special treat you can enjoy any time of day! 

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Butter Wafers

1 cup Navitas Organics Cacao Powder

½ cup pure maple syrup

1 tsp. vanilla extract

¼ tsp. sea salt

Optional: superfood toppings

DIRECTIONS

Heat cacao butter wafers in a medium saucepan over low heat until melted.

Remove pan from heat, then whisk in remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour mixture into an 8x8-inch baking pan lined with parchment.

Spread evenly and sprinkle on toppings, if using.

Place in the freezer at least one hour, until mixture has hardened.

Once frozen, break into pieces. Store in the freezer or the fridge.

Makes 12 servings
