Chocolate Orange Truffles Recipe

These velvety smooth truffles are a perfect balance of sweet and citrusy flavors, creating a luxurious treat for any chocolate lover.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients:
1 cup Navitas Organics Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers
½ cup full-fat coconut milk
¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Zest of 1 orange
Navitas Organics Cacao Powder, for sprinkling on top
Chocolate Coating:
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 cup Navitas Organics Semi-sweet Cacao Wafers

DIRECTIONS

Add cacao wafers to a medium-sized heat-proof bowl and set aside.
Heat coconut milk on medium-low heat in a small saucepan until it just boiling.
Pour coconut milk over cacao wafers and let sit for 1 minute.
Add vanilla extract, sea salt and orange zest, and stir until smooth. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm. Using a mini scooper or spoon, roll into small balls.
Chocolate Coating:
In a small bowl, add cacao wafers and coconut oil. Melt in the microwave in 15-30 second intervals until
smooth.
Dip each truffle in chocolate and place on a tray lined with parchment.
Once dry, sprinkle cacao powder on top, then refrigerate for 10 minutes or until ready to serve.

Makes 8 medium truffles or 16 small truffles

Notes:
If dough gets too soft while rolling into balls, refrigerate or freeze for 10-15 minutes to firm up.
