Peanut Butter & Jelly Hemp Balls

These protein balls are easy to make and can be a fun after-school snack, party food or post-workout treat. The best part? They’re gluten free, vegan, raw and refined sugar free.


Peanut Butter Layer:

6 Large Dates

1 cup Roasted & Salted Peanuts

¼ cup Peanut Butter

¼ cup Honey

1/3 cup Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds

Splash Vanilla Extract

1 scoop Navitas Organics Vanilla+Greens Essential Blend

Jelly Layer:

7 Large Dates

½ cup Navitas Organics Mulberries

½ cup Navitas Organics Whole Cashew Nuts

1/3 cup Navitas Organics Hemp Seeds


In a food processor, pulse "Peanut Butter Layer" ingredients until combined and a ball begins to form. Empty into a bowl and set aside.

In the empty food processor, pulse “Jelly Layer” ingredients until well combined and sticky ball forms. Empty into a second bowl.

To make “marbled protein balls,” grab a dime-sized ball of each kind of mixture and squish together. Roll into a ball in the palm of your hand.

To make “secret jelly protein balls,” roll a dime-sized ball of the jelly mixture and set aside. Take some peanut butter mixture and flatten in your palm. Place the small jelly ball in the middle and wrap the peanut butter layer around it. Roll in your palm.

Roll protein balls in Hemp Seeds and/or chopped Cashews.

Note: If mixture is too dry, add more dates, honey or a bit of coconut oil.
