Lucuma Chai Latte

Low glycemic and high nutrition, this spiced Chai Latte is the perfect morning beverage to power you through a busy day. 


½ cup Homemade Chai Concentrate*

3 Tbsp Navitas Organics Lucuma Powder

1 ½ cups Almond Milk

*Homemade Chai Concentrate:
3 cups Water
8 Organic Black Tea Bags
2 Cinnamon Sticks
12 Whole Cloves
8 Cardamom Pods
2 Anise Pods
½ tsp Nutmeg
½ cup Navitas Organics Coconut Palm Sugar
Fresh Ginger


Make the Chai Concentrate: Prepare the tea bags by removing the tags and tying them all together. Heat the whole spices in a pan at medium heat for about 5-10 minutes. Add water and Coconut Palm Sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium to high heat. Once it is boiling, reduce the heat and add all the spices (including nutmeg) and the teabags. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from heat and strain the liquid through a sieve into a new pot. Allow the chai to cool down before pouring it into an airtight jar. Once the chai tea is cool, store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Heat milk in a pot over medium-high heat. Add Lucuma Powder and mix well. 

Pour 2 tbsp of chai concentrate into a cup. Add the Lucuma milk and stir well. Sprinkle with cinnamon and enjoy!

The Lucuma Chai Latte can be served cold as an iced latte as well.
