Boil the rice in a pot on the stove until the rice is very soft and breaking apart. Keep adding water to keep the rice soupy, like a porridge.
Don’t let the rice dry out.
Scoop the porridge into large bowls and serve with a variety of toppings for your friends to select from.
Stir the toppings into the rice and enjoy.
