Nourishing Soup
Traditionally‚ jook is served for breakfast in street cafes or as a “get well” dish during cold and flu season. It is often served with duck or an over-easy fried egg‚ but can easily be adapted to a vegetarian diet.

INGREDIENTS1 Tbsp Navitas Organics Goji Berries* Toppings: Grated Fresh Ginger Root Soy Sauce Diced Tofu Miso Diced Shallots Chili Oil Navitas Organics Goji Berries |
DIRECTIONSBoil the rice in a pot on the stove until the rice is very soft and breaking apart. Keep adding water to keep the rice soupy, like a porridge. Don’t let the rice dry out. Scoop the porridge into large bowls and serve with a variety of toppings for your friends to select from. Stir the toppings into the rice and enjoy. * Goji Berries can be cooked with the rice or added after. Makes 4 servings
